For the 2020 season, we’ve added some incredible new athletes to our ambassador team. They come from all over the United States and even the U.K. The team includes two world champions, a visually-impaired Western States 100 attempter, a multiple FKT holder, and an amputee ultrarunner. Let’s meet them!

Jacky Hunt-Broersma

Jacky is an amputee ultrarunner who started running 3 and half years ago. Her goal is to show people (especially the naysayers) that you don’t have to be defined by a disability. She takes on some of the more challenging trail races in the mountains including Colorado’s TransRockies Stage race.  She plans to push her limits even more in 2020 with an FKT attempt and running her first 100 miler. Suzanne “Sunny” Stroeer

Sunny is a Harvard MBA who quit her cushy corporate job several years ago to live in a van, travel the world, and crush huge racing, FKT and rock climbing objectives. Outside magazine called her the “fastest woman you’ve never heard of” and she first gained attention by crushing the women’s speed record on the Annapurna Circuit, the Himalayan trail that includes a 17,769-foot pass. Sunny also has the women’s base-camp-to-summit record on Aconcagua, South America’s tallest mountain. Follow Sunny on Instagram.

Kyle Robidoux

Kyle Robidoux suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary and degenerative disease which leaves him a field of vision of just 3–4 percent. Despite this physical challenge, Kyle doesn’t back down from pursuing ambitious ultrarunning goals. He was the first known visually impaired athlete to toe the line at the Western States 100. Kyle didn’t start running to simply inspire people, he started for a more pragmatic reason: to lose weight. Ever since, Kyle has been running his way to better health and in showing what’s possible for visually impaired people, becoming a figurehead for helping people break down their own barriers. Follow Kyle on Instagram.
